As I approached him, I noticed that his skin was starting to turn blue. I could tell he had been lying there for quite some time. Without hesitation, I called for emergency services and tried to keep him warm with my coat.
we waited for help to arrive, I tried to comfort him as best as I could. He told me that he had been out for a walk and slipped on some ice.
He had no phone on him and was unable to move due to his injuries. It was a stark reminder of how quickly things can go wrong,
especially during the winter months. It’s important to always be prepared for the unexpected and to look out for one another.
