Two domestic cats became foster mothers for caracal, serval, and Far Eastern cat babies at the Novosibirsk Zoo.

Domestic cats frequently lend a hand at the Novosibirsk Zoo. They are great nurses who look after a variety of animals young. Two cats, a black and a white became foster mothers at the zoo this

summer.
These cats recently arrived in the zoo, and numerous female wild cats in the zoo were unable to feed their cubs at the same time. It happens for a variety of reasons, ranging from poor health to stress.

Two baby servals and a Far Eastern kitten were introduced to a black cat by the zoo personnel, who quickly accepted them and began feeding and licking them. In June, the white cat was entrusted with the care of two caracal kittens. Everything went well here, too, and the domestic cat became their foster mother.

It’s safe to say that these kids’ lives have turned out well. Of course, zoologists and zoo vets could bottle-feed the cubs. Cats, on the other hand, do more than just feed them. They keep them warm, play with them, calm them, and love them as if they were real mothers.
